We started on the other side of the table — importing for our own e-commerce brand. We paid for samples that never matched production, discovered our "factory" was a trading company with a rented office, and once received a container we had no way to inspect before it sailed.

Licence, export record, machine list and headcount checked on site. If a supplier is really a trading company, we say so.

Deposit after audit approval. Balance after you approve the inspection report. You hold the gates, not us.
NDA before any contact
No factory is told what you are making until confidentiality is signed. Tooling is registered under your name.
